H.E. Distinguished senator Orji Uzor Kalu, an international business man, a consummate philanthropist, and a politician. He was the Executive Governor of Abia State, Nigeria from 1999 to 2007. During his tenure as Governor, he focused his attention among other things on food security, poverty alleviation projects, job creation, water and sanitation, health, community/infrastructural development and the education of his people. A political Icon and doyen of alleviation of peoples suffering and poverty.
H.E. Distinguished senator Orji Uzor Kalu sits on the Board of the Foundation as the Chairman.
